Prime Minister of Thailand Offers Referendum

In the hopes of seeing an end to the current political crisis in Thailand, caused as a result of protesters hoping to oust the Prime Minister, Samak Sundaravej, he has refused to concede, instead offering to compromise by allowing a referendum on fate. This comes in the face of looming economic chaos in the country.
